Privacy Policy
Found Next is built so that your name and contact details stay yours until you decide otherwise. This page explains exactly what that means in practice — what we hold, who can see it, and what you can change.
Your data,
your call.
Effective 24 September 2026
The short version
Your profile is anonymous. Verified businesses can see what you can do — your role, skills, listed experience, availability, salary expectation and relocation preference — but not your name, your contact details or your CV.
They have to ask. You decide what to share, each time, and you can take that access away afterwards. If you are employed, your current employer is hidden from seeing you by default.
This policy describes what Found Next actually does today. Where something is not built yet, it says so rather than reserving a right we are not exercising. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
Section 1
What we collect
Everything below is information you give us by filling in a form or uploading a file. We do not buy data, scrape profiles or import you from anywhere else.
If you are looking for work
- Your email address and password, to sign in
- Your first and last name
- Your headline, the role you want, and your industry
- Your country, region and city
- Your skills and languages
- Your work history — company, job title, industry, location, dates, and any description you write
- Training and courses — course name, provider, year
- Your availability, notice period and employment status
- Your salary expectation, currency and period
- Whether you will relocate, and to which countries, regions or cities
- Your work authorisation
- Your contact details — email, phone number, and optionally a WhatsApp number
- Your CV, if you upload one (PDF, up to 5 MB)
If you are hiring
- Your email address and password, to sign in
- Your company's legal name and display name
- Your company's country, region, city, industry and website
- A company description and size, if you add them
- Your company logo, if you upload one
- For verification: registration type, registration number, and a registration or trade licence document, with its expiry date where applicable
- For verification: the full name of the person applying, their country, and the type of identity document provided
- Verification documents you upload (PDF or image, up to 8 MB)
We also record things that happen on the platform: contact requests and the message sent with them, what a candidate chose to share in response, when access was granted or withdrawn, and the emails we have sent you. Separately we keep a product event log — that a signup completed, that a search ran — which stores event names, identifiers and counts only. It is checked in code against a list of forbidden keys so that profile content cannot end up in it.
Section 2
Why we use it
To run the marketplace. Your profile exists so verified businesses can find people who fit what they need. Your availability, salary expectation and relocation preference are there so they can tell whether there is a conversation worth having before anyone’s time is spent.
To verify businesses. Registration numbers and documents are used to check that a business is a real, registered business before it is allowed to browse anyone.
To let you decide. Your contact details are held so that you have something to release when you accept a request — not so that we can pass them on.
To email you about your account. Contact requests, decisions, verification outcomes and reminders about your profile. Profile reminders are an option you can turn off; the ones about a live contact request are part of the service.
To keep a record. We log decisions that affect access — a verification outcome, a grant, a withdrawal — so that there is an account of what happened and when.
We do not use your information to advertise to you, and we do not sell it.
Section 3
Who can see what
Anyone on the internet
Nothing. Public pages on this site never load candidate data at all. The example profiles on our marketing pages are illustrations and say so where they appear.
A verified business, browsing
Your role, industry, country, region and city, your skills and languages, your listed work history and the experience derived from it, your training, your availability and start date, your salary expectation, your relocation preference, and when you were last active.
Not your name. Not your email, phone or WhatsApp number. Not your CV.
A verified business, after you say yes
Only the specific things you tick when you accept their request: your email, your phone number, your CV, or some combination. Nothing is released automatically, and nothing is released by us on your behalf.
Found Next
A single operator administers the platform and reviews business verification documents in order to approve or reject them. Access to those documents is limited to that review.
Businesses only reach profiles that are published and visible. While your profile is unpublished or private, it is not in the search results at all.
Section 5
Third parties we use
Three, and no others. There is no advertising network, no tracking pixel, no third-party analytics and no customer-data platform on this site.
Supabase
Our database, sign-in system and file storage. Your profile, your contact details, your CV and business verification documents are held here.
Vercel
Hosts the website and runs the application code that serves your pages.
Resend
Sends our email. Account emails come from notify.found-next.com. Resend handles the email address we send to and the contents of that message.
Section 6
Where your data is stored
Our database and file storage run in Supabase’s eu-central-1 region, which is in Frankfurt, Germany. That is where your profile, your contact details, your CV and verification documents physically live.
The website itself is served by Vercel’s global network, so the pages you load may be served from a location near you. Email is processed by Resend.
We are telling you the region we can verify. We are not making a data-residency guarantee, and we are not promising that our providers never process data elsewhere — their own infrastructure is theirs, and we would be guessing.
Section 7
Keeping and deleting
Contact requests expire after 14 days. If you do not respond to a business’s request within that window, it lapses automatically and they get nothing.
Withdrawing access ends it. If you revoke something you previously shared, the business’s access to that detail stops.
Deleting a profile is a real delete. When a profile is erased, your uploaded files are removed from storage first, then your profile row and everything attached to it — skills, languages, work history, training, relocation preferences, contact details, documents and contact requests — then your sign-in account. What survives is the record that a decision happened, with your profile no longer attached to it.
Being straight with you about two things
There is no delete button yet. Erasure is done by us, on request. Email hello@found-next.com from your account address and we will do it. A self-service control is something we intend to build.
We have not set fixed retention periods. Apart from the 14-day request expiry above, we keep your information for as long as your account exists. We would rather say that than print a retention schedule nothing actually enforces.
Section 8
What you control
- Publish or unpublish your profile. Unpublished means you are not in search results at all.
- Change your visibility. Control whether verified businesses can find you.
- Hide from your current employer. On by default once you tell us where you work.
- Choose what to share, per request. Email, phone, CV — any combination, decided each time.
- Withdraw what you shared. Revoke a business's access to a detail after granting it.
- Block a business. Stop a specific company from reaching you.
- Turn off profile reminder emails. The ones about a live contact request stay on, because they are the service.
- Edit or correct anything. Your profile is yours to change at any time.
- Ask us to erase everything. Email hello@found-next.com from your account address.
Section 9
What we do not collect
Worth stating plainly, because most privacy policies quietly reserve all of it:
- We do not log your IP address.
- We do not record your browser or device details.
- We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. The only cookie we set is the one that keeps you signed in.
- We do not run third-party analytics on this site.
- We do not track you across other websites.
- We do not ask candidates for identity documents or for a photograph.
- We do not buy, sell or rent personal information.
Section 10
About legal compliance
This policy describes what our system actually does. It is not a claim of certification or of compliance with any particular data protection law, and we are not going to print one we have not verified.
Found Next operates in South Africa and the United Arab Emirates, and data protection law applies to us as it does to anyone. We are working through what each regime requires. When we have verified our position, we will say so here specifically, rather than adding a badge to a footer.
In the meantime, if you want your information corrected or erased, you do not need to cite a statute at us. Ask, and we will do it.
Section 11
Changes to this policy
Found Next is early and still being built. When we add something that changes what we collect, who can see it, or which companies process it, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top.
If a change materially affects what happens to information you have already given us, we will email you about it rather than relying on you to re-read this page.
Section 12
Contact
Questions about this policy, a correction, an erasure request, or anything you think we have got wrong:
For an erasure request, email us from the address on your account so that we know it is you.
Effective 24 September 2026. This policy is versioned with the product and describes Found Next as it works on that date.
